Hey #omonifam how are you all faring? I am excited!!! We are starting our 30 day smoothie challenge today! It’s all about getting those much needed fruits and veggies into our system and giving our digestive system a bit of rest from too much work digesting 3 meals a day.
So we are on! Replace breakfast, lunch or dinner with a smoothie. It will be great for your hair, skin and general health!

TODAY’S RECIPE
Spinach
Banana
Pawpaw
Apple
Cucumber

See previous blog post here for the health benefits of spinach, cucumber and apples.
Pawpaw contains vitamins A, B, C, potassium and calcium. Aside from being great for the skin, it helps in anti aging, helps to control heart rate and metabolism.

Banana is rich in Vitamin B6, manganese, vitamin C, potassium, dietary Fiber, magnesium and folate. Banana is an excellent energy booster, anti depressant, helps with PMS and relaxation, combats anemia, lowers blood pressure and protects against heart attack and stroke. There are so many benefits of eating bananas too numerous to mention.
Let’s do this shall we? Let me know how you get on! Cheers to a healthier lifestyle!
Hugs and kisses.

Hi Omoni. I am visiting your blog for the first time and really find the smoothie recipe very educating. I would also love to try them.

Please clarify what the spinach is called in our local language. From my research, i can see it’s called “green” vegetable; as well as soko yokoto. Please, which is it?

    Thanks
