How do I begin to say THANK YOU? The love that you showed me yesterday was mind blowing! I started my day out of town. The hotel woke me up with roses and a cake which I ended up sharing with the front office staff when I was checking out cos I couldn’t carry it with me. I was shocked they knew it was my birthday. I was more taken aback when I got on social media and saw thousands of messages. If I didn’t personally say thank you to you, please accept my apologies and accept this as a heart felt thank you! The messages were A LOT!

Yay!!! It’s my birthday on the 22nd! I think birthdays are the coolest days ever! It’s that one day you can get away with anything. Well…almost anything! I love the whole idea of being pampered and spoilt silly! I am like a little girl in a candy store. Everything’s calling out to me and I want it all. So I am expecting loads of gifts from y’all. I am so thankful to God for another year. I am thankful for family and friends. I am thankful for elevation and growth. I am ever so grateful for the love you all have shown me in the last year. You are no more fans, I call you my #omonifam. You are family! What would I do without you!

Vacations are absolutely important! I cannot over emphasise! It’s that time when you can shut out the madness in your life and reflect. It’s a bit difficult though when you are on vacation with the family. I always say, there’s no such thing as a family holiday. There’s family, and there’s holiday. They don’t mix! Hehehe! All in all, it’s still a relaxing time and if you are with family or friends, it’s a great bonding time.

My good friend said to me, as I reflected on the outcome of elections, “Don’t worry Omoni, it will be fine.” I looked at him incredulously and said, “How can you be so calm?
