Move over summer, a new school year is here! School bells begin to ring and so do early morning alarm clocks. It’s time to get back into those busy school schedules, homework, meals and hectic rounds of school and sport activities. With the start of school, families face new organization challenges but with a little planning, you can make going back to school easy and stress-free.
So let’s do this together; get ready and get organized. Buying notebooks and scoping out sales is the easy part, there are less tangible things you can do as well.

Simple ‘Nunu’ Milk Pancakes

March 17, 2016 - Author: Omonioboli

Hey darlings, trust y’all are well. I’m good! Very busy preparing for the release of my new movie WIVES ON STRIKE! I can’t wait for y’all to see this one! You’ll absolutely love it!

As you know, I’m always doing my best to prepare different meals for the boys. They get bored easily.

Ps: Dear future daughters in-law, better know how to cook or hire a bad ass chef because my boys are used to a variety…just saying…lol.

Anyway, here’s a pancake recipe they never tire of! It’s fast and easy to make too! Enjoy!

Ingredients:

3/4 cup ‘Nunu’ milk

2 tablespoons white vinegar

1 cup all-purpose flour

2 tablespoons sugar

1 teaspoon baking powder

1/2 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 egg

2 tablespoons melted butter

Directions: Add vinegar to milk in a medium size bowl and leave it for 5 minutes. Whisk egg and butter into the milk and vinegar after 5 minutes to get the ‘wet ingredients’

Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a large mixing bowl.

Pour the flour mixture into the wet ingredients and whisk until its free of lumps.

Heat a large frying pan over medium heat, and coat with cooking spray or some drops of oil. Pour 1/4 cupfuls of pancake batter onto the frying pan and cook until bubbles appear on the surface. Flip with a spatula, and cook until browned on the other side.

This is a very simple pancake recipe. Kids and adults love it! You can serve with syrup, sliced bananas, or other fruits of your choice!

Let me know if you try this and how it turns out. You can also share other ideas if you have. I love hearing from you so leave a comment! Hugs and kisses!

Hello fabulous moms…and dads!
I know a few dads who are primary care givers to their children. We are all on this journey of motherhood or fatherhood and it really never ends. Your kids are still going to call you when they’re fifty (you’ll still be alive then by God’s grace) to ask for some advice or the other. We owe it to them, to do everything in our power to make sure they grow everyday! And kids really grow everyday! I know there are days I woke up to see that one of my sons grew taller overnight!
